THE QUOTE-TO-PRODUCTION WORKFLOW
Screen printing quotes that reach the press intact.
A customer orders 48 shirts. Later they add six XLs and replace the back artwork. The quote, the approval and the production instructions all need to say 54—and point to the same back proof.
1. Capture the specification once
Record garment style, color, print positions, sizes and promised date. The total comes from the size breakdown. The quote saves the actual price you chose for that revision.
2. Ask for an explicit approval
The customer reviews the exact quote and attached artwork. They can approve or request changes. Opening a link does not mean approval, and an old link cannot approve a newer revision.
3. Release the approved revision
Your studio controls release to production. The work ticket includes the version, sizes, artwork and generation time. A production member sees production details, not selling prices or internal notes.
4. Repeat without rewriting history
Create a new draft from an old order. Recheck pricing, garment availability and delivery. The original approval stays with the original job.
This first version is for screen-printing handoffs. Supplier catalogs, machine control, accounting, inventory and embroidery pricing are outside its scope.
